Instructions for using Brasso!

Ive Read alot of posts on how to get scratches out of the screen usinf Brasso. But none of them really worked Finnally I got all the scratches off usind this method:

What you need:
-Brasso Metal Polish
-Micro Fibre Cloth(Oakly bag or a Jewlery Cleaner cloth)
-and a Cloth made ou of 100% cotton( I used pair of old Boxers)
- Q-Tips

1. First you will need to dip the Q-Tip in the Brasso and spread it all over the screen.
2. Use the 100% cotton cloth and start buffing(in circles).
3. When all the Brasso is soaked up or buffed off, apply more using the Q-Tip.
4. Do this for 20 to 30 min( it takes a long time but after awhile it works)
5. After 20 or 30 minutes use the Micro Fibre cloth to buff the Screen without any Brasso on it(their might be some residue and thats fine).
6. When You are done this it should of taken the scratches away or at least minimized them. And you Might have to repeat it to get rid of them. AND use a little NOT alot

This Exactly what i did and it worked Great!

Thank you very much for this information! I was using brasso with no success, then I found this post and followed your instructions, and now my iPod looks brand new!

Thanks!

p.s. 20-30 minutes may not be enough. It took me a bit more than an hour to polish mine.

Does it work to get the micro scratches off the shiny back? I was amazed at how AWESOME it looked when I first opened it up. But now there are a thousand tiny scratches all over the back. Nothing deep, but not *perfect*. Will Brasso buff those out too?
