Desk stand or inmotion speakers?

I am wanting some feedback. I am wanting to get some kind of deskstand for my ipod. I like the look of the lucit stands. I also like teh fact that If I get the altech speakers then my pod is powered while at the office. Most of the time I will not nead the speaker funcionatly in the altech's but really like the fact that it powers the ipod.

if you can afford it, get the speakers. you can always take them on vacation with you as well. i really like them, but i have problems when docking it, no problems charging though.poddington at 2007-11-15 16:06:11 >

I also purchased the inmotion speakers and they are great for portability. I usually keep them on my nightstand for listening/charging at night.. even took them to the golf course and they fit very nicely in the basket behind the seats in the cart. :)-jsh
