Hi all

Here is the set up:

Computers:
Mac 9.2.2 on G4 400 iTunes 2.0.4
and
Mac 9.2.2 on iMac G3 400 special edition iTunes 2.0.4

iPod:
3rd gen - 2.0.1

Problem:

When connected to OS 9, it sees it fine, iTunes sees it fine.
When Update iPod is selected, it starts the update...
BUT
after a few songs, the error "-39" appears, or it says that there was an error communicating with th ipod. if you had 300 songs in iTunes, it may transfer about 20 to 50 then pouf, error. the 40 songs will play ok, but sometimes, not, playing half a song then starting another, play half of it etc.

Also, i got another weird behiavor: itunes sees about 12GB free, but the message there is not enough room on the iPod to transfer the songs.

if anyone knows a way around it, that would be cool.
