iCondom

Has anyone ever bought the "iCondom" from eBay? if so, reviews? and does it fit in a Vaja iVOd?

Hmmm im pretty sure that thats an imitation of some other product that is exactly the same. I would have remembered a name like iCondom.

I just got these for my 40gb, and they work as described. I use an Iskin EVO, but put the TrendyGeek film over the iPod before I slip it into the case. I like having the film over the screen because the Iskin EVO screen is prone to shifting around. With the film over the screen, the cover stays put, and even if it moves it would be touching the film instead of the iPod surface. I also like the fact that the entire back of the iPod is covered and won't get scratched up taking in in and out of the EVO. My screen looks slightly less clear with the EVO screen cover over the film, but it doesn't bother me. Overall, the TrendyGeek film won't provide any meaningful protection as the sole cover unless you just want something to keep the polished back from getting scratched up. I really like using it under a 'skin type case though. They're certainly cheap enough to try out and not feel like you wasted a lot of money if you don't care for them.

I just got the iCondom off of eBay and it works fine inside my iVod. I wish there was something to cover up the sides also. Also, it doesn't cover up the back "entirely". Still okay, though. Like Josephvman said, it makes the screen unclear, but I'm cool with that.

The icondom seems like the better deal for sure. For those who have used the back skin how does this thing deal with heat transfer? I am almost to the point of making a few purchases

Hey soldier...

I didn't even think of the heat issue. Hope it works okay, but since the backs for the iCondom is static cling, it shouldn't hurt.
