iSkin Evo owners

I just recently got a 3G 15GB iPod, and from having browsed these forums for a while, I've decided that getting a case is a good idea.

I'm looking at getting an iSkin Evo, but have a few questions.

1)I have a dock for my iPod, and from what I've heard the skin will prevent the iPod from fitting in the dock. Is it feasible to remove the iPod from the Evo every time I want to put it in the dock? Do these cases slide on and off fairly easily?

2) Is it the general consensus that charging or synching the iPod while in a skin is a bad idea due to heat dissipation problems?

Thanks in advance for your help.

2) Well it all depends on who you want to believe. Apple clearly state not to charge your iPod while in a case. Now if the manufacturer says this they must for a reason.
With reports on these forums of iPods splitting open it would seem there may be a problem of the case expanding at different rates. Is this down to the owner charging or syncing while it is in a case?

End of the day you'll do what you want - but if the iPod dies through heat exhaustion you were warned ;)

I have not noticed my iPod getting warm when it is charging? I haven't charged it in it's case yet though. Boy that would be a bit of a pain to take it off everytime I have to charge it.
