Anyone fill a 20 GB ?

My 20GB only has 25MB of space left, and I have about 10GB of tunes left. I'm thinking of selling the 20GB and getting the 40GB or just getting a 40GB and keeping the 20 just in case.

My 20 GB iPod is now at 85% capacity. Fortunately, I've encoded everything that I own.

I'm always under .5 gb left empty. As soon as a book is read/listened to, another takes it's place.

your problem is that only take your favorite songs... i collect albums... i have like 400 or somethin... in 6415 songs (24GB on a 30GB ipod in AAC format)... if i only took 1-4 songs from every album i would have nothin

i usually put entire albums on my ipod cuz the albums i collect are classics..

so a 20 gig is way to small for me, i never no what mood i am going to be in so i need to carry around a lot of differnt music

I'm kind of in the same boat with my 10gig. However going up to a a 40gig would, IMHO, not make much of a difference to me.

My 40 GB is always full. I ripped my whole CD collection and have over 100 GB @ 320 cbr, I just let iTunes select a randon subset of the 100 GB and it's always full. I put it on total random shuffle play and if a song bores me, I just hit next track and I am surprised all day. I just did a 7 hr road trip this way and it was great. Heck I wish they made 100 GB iPods

i have completely filled my 30gb and i am in desperate need of a 40gb maybe larger. i have around 36gb of music, almost 8000 songs. anyone wanna buy my 30gb? its in great condition

I have over 105 GB of music on my computer, all fully ripped complete albums of MP3 at approx. 160 kb or better.

I had a 20 gig ZEN and a 20 gig iRiver and actually just traded them for a 15 GB iPod. Down in size, you say??

I realized that even though it would be great to have more of my collection on a Jukebox I didn't really need more than 3000 songs at a time and that it was actually better for me to 'refresh' the jukebox every few weeks.

Plus the iPod is much cooler than both of my previous units even w/ it's smaller capacity.

It's the 80/20 rule... 80% of the people would only listen to 20% of their collection once it gets past a certain size.

I could fill 2.5 20GB ipods. Lack of space is my biggest issue right now

but, the REALLY REALLY sad thing is...

my iPod's hard drive is bigger than my comps :( :( :(

I have filled my 20GB with about 4300 illegally downloaded songs between 128k and 192k.

Buy used CD on ebay and then copy or rip it to MP3s then post it on ebay to sell it. :D

I have a 15gb, and it's got about 1gb left on it.
I ripped most of my CDs into itunes at whatever Apple's default setting is, only leaving out CDs I know I'll never want to listen to. This is after a serious culling of my music collection, so pretty much everything on my computer/ipod is stuff I like (full albums though, so there are some songs I may not love)

I guess when I get over 15gb I'll have to just let it randomly fill it up.

mine is filled to the brim. i'm having a hard time deciding which album gets to stay. *sigh... i need a 100GB ipod.

Got about 8 GBs left on me 40 but I have over 35GBs of music in iTunes and still haven't ripped all my cds.
