Ipod music (uploading songs from an ipod to itunes)

Hi, i recently was at a friends house who owns an ipod and uploaded all his songs of his libary (around 1000 songs, good days work) and was wondering if i can upload them to my itunes so i dont have to have the ipod connected to the pc for it to play them via the pc.

Yes.
You can't copy music off the iPod directly from iTunes but there are a number of 3rd party programs that will copy them off the iPod to your Hard Disk and then you can add them to you iTunes library.
As I say there are a number of these programs, the only one I have tried is iPodagent (just type it into google) and it works fine, you can choose wich songs/albums/artist to copy and it even creates a folder structure for you. However this is a windows program. If you a windows PC then great, if you got a mac then just look around, there's sure to be a similar program for macs.

hope this helps
