NO "ok to disconnect" screen HELP PLEASE

ive heard people talking on ipodlounge about an "ok to disconnect" screen. I have never seen this before on my 3G 20GB ipod. I downloaded ipod software 2.1 like people told me to, but i still dont see this "ok to disconnect screen"
