XM/ipod Issue, please advice.

I recently purchased the xm commander unit for my car. since my car doesnt have a tape deck, this unit comes with the fm modulator. it works really great, not one setback. i want to have great sound out of my ipod in my car too. i've tried two fm transmitters but they blow. i asked the car audio dude if i could have installed another wired fm modulator strictly for the ipod, but he warned that having two wired modulators would end up distorting the sound of one of the two. so scratch that. do you guys have any sort of advice in what i should try?

how does the transpod stand up to any of this? i was thinking of purchasing this unit because of all its other advantages. ie: charges ur ipod.

please advice.

btw...the vehicle is a 03 mazda6.

FM transmitters don't have very good quality to begin with. This becomes worse if you live in a big city. You might want to try some alternatives

well for those that dont have an fm modulator in your vehicle, thats a good alternative for the ipod...clear as crystal sound. but you cant have two, at least without some major disturbance.
