I want to transfer songs from my iPod to a mini iPod configured for a PC and then to its "home" Dell Windows XP computer at another location. I have an original 10gb iPod.

The dell computer is at another location... and these are some ideas i had... I need help somone please advise.

1. use some program to make my iPod work directly with the dell so I can upload the songs into the dell. If I do this will I be able to see the "hidden" files.

2. Upload my songs onto a G4 powerbook and plug the mini Ipod in to the powerbook, dowload the data onto the mini iPod and then eventually upload the data onto the dell. However I heard that iPods are configured to their "home" computer Mac and PC, and in order to go back and forth you must restore it... losing all data.

Note that I dont need to go to the mini iPod I can just go directly to the dell if thats possible and then eventually download to the iPod mini once I upload the songs to the dell.

Please help I am completely lost. I need all of the steps... inlcuding info about uploading from iPod to comp.
