Transfering from Ipod to Hard Drive
Hi All,
If a friend of mine copying my cd's on my ipod from his computer. When I plug it into my computer will it transfer the song from ipod to the computer or it is only one way i.e. computer to ipod?

After connecting your iPod to your computer your music will not transfer over automatically. However, it can be done: Copying music from iPod to hard drive ( http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4719)

download sharepod. I used it and it worked great. It can be run right from the ipod hard drive on most pc's

search for 'podutil' too
let us know when you get to transfer your songs to your hdd ok?

many thanks for your replies. I will be sure to let you know when I have done it.
I am off to the San Francisco in May on my Honeymoon and will be getting a 15 inch powerbook and 15gb Ipod for myself and can't wait - also gives me a chance to check out the new store.
Has anyone had experience of buying stuff in the states and bringing it back to the UK?
