My battery died while uploading (manually) from my laptop (Windows 2000, Musicmatch 8.2, iPod version 2.0.1) and now iPod shows 0 songs. About also shows that the iPod has 7 gig of files on it - but obviously not accessible.
Is my only option to restore or is their a way to get the iPod to recognize the songs? I assume battery died before tagging done but what I don't understand is why the iPod does not recognize the old songs that were already on it.
