Should I spend

the money to buy an iPod if I don't get one for my birthday. I dont quite have enough money (keep in mind im turning 14) and usually get alteast $100 for my bday. Is the iPod worth the $300? Maybe I'll ask my buddy if I can borrow it for a day or so to see if i like it.

i hate it when people ask this question. its all about your priorities. if you want to save up early for a car or something, then maybe its not worth it. but if its something you will use often, and you have a lot of music to listen to, then of course its worth it. you cant expect someone to say that the ipod is no good on a web site devoted to ipods. its the best all around mp3 player. period.S.O.A.D. at 2007-11-15 14:08:02 >

I'm not really concerned about money. I just wanted to know if it was a good investment.Oh and a car isn't a big deal my dad is giving me his comaro when I turn 16

lol Age has nothing to go with it... I'm 15, and I use my iPod every day. I have 4.5 gigs of music, more than enough for a pod... (and I don't download) So don't mention age. I hate when people use that as a reason for people not to get one. It's immature. I got one for my birthday. It was my only present. Who stinkin cares how I got it though, except that I got it. Richness has nothing to do with it.
To aliensRreal: If you'll use it, get one. If you won't use it, then you're wasting your money. If you don't have enough money and still want one, just save up. It just means you might have to wait a little while to get one... It'd be worth the wait methinks.

well since I am not in college, and never went to college (I went to University) I am guessing that it is not only for college people.I believe that the problem is that most older people didn't have the opportunity to own such things at a young age and, being that I deal with young people everyday, I feel that most teens do not appreciate things like they should.
I guess there is some jealously happening here but I still reserve the right to become crotchety as I age.
