Programming iPod Games
hi everyone.
i am interested to know if anyone has been able to create applications on the iPod such as additional games.
even if this requires some type of weird hacks... (like custom programs to push the game into memory, etc.)

Hasn't been allowed by apple, and for some reason I don't see quite the same effort being put into hacking the ipod as there was hacking the xbox.

you could always make text based games, but that really isnt hacking

As of right now, I dont think it is possible (hacking or not) to make real games for the iPod. At the very least, no one has given it enough effort to make it happen. Apple has to release their sdk for any real mainstream game programming to ever happen.
