OK I'm big on rendomization.
I have some playlists with over 500 songs in them, I'm currently not using Soundcheck and I've not selected Soundcheck for any of my 7000 songs. You can imagine the volume and settings issues I'm having!

So here are my questions:

Does soundcheck set levels based on the current playlist or on ALL the songs that Soundcheck is selected for?

If I want Soundcheck to apply to a certain playlist, can I select it somehow to only be in effect in that playlist - i.e. only in relation to that particular playlist?

Will using Soundcheck severely reduce my battery time?

Are there pros and cons to consider?

Finally, is there a shortcut to selecting Soundcheck for mass amounts of songs?
