I reckon this is an old and tired subject, but here it goes:

I am trying to share files (word, excel, work stuff, etc) between an PowerBook 17 and a very small and light PC that is better for travel. The iPod seems a great conduit of files, but the PC is resisting the thing something terrible. It keep on trying to format the drive and then crashing. Is there a trick I should know about or are the two worlds not compatible here. Is a simple thumb drive the better solution?
