Mini for PC with big iPod already?
I have a 10G PC iPod. I rip and compress my CDs using EAC and load them to the 'pod via EphPod. I'm very happy with the quality this offers.
I'm getting the impression that this won't work for the mini, however. If I use iTunes for the mini, will I have to use it for the big as well? And will it offer the same quality?

Ephpod should still work, regardless of the Mini, for your iPod. Ephpod is basically just a db proram that reads your db on the iPod.
When you first hook up the Mini to iTunes UNCHECK the auto sync function. This will allow you to drag and drop files to the Mini inside of iTunes. This especially true if you have a music collection over 4 gigs.
Also, the iPod and the Mini are independant in iTunes. One doesn't effect the other.

Thanks, Snowdog. A friend with an iPod said she had read once you use iTunes you can't use anything else. I know, I know, always listen to the good folks here, not to random friends...
Now all I have to do it get my mini!!
