Calling all members - i need your help!
Okay - i'm trying to import an ipod mini blue to Europe(Ireland) but i cannot seem to find any site that delivers here AND has the ipod in stock.
If anyone knows of a reliable site i could order from i would be very pleased.
I thought i was onto a winner with datavisioncomputer.com but they only accept american express :(

CDW delivers internationally...but they do not have it in stock.
Actually...right now, you'll find very few places period, that have them in stock. Most of the Apple stores sold out, a lot of the online retailers sold out...even Apple's site says 1-3 weeks until they start shipping again.

I got it from a guy by ebay. I just emailed him on friday and after I payed with paypal about 1 hour later he wrote me the tracking number and today I got it!!!!

Mintyfresh - i took your advice and went to order the mini from CDW, but wouldn't ya know it, apple bet me to it, and i got the same "i'm sorry, you're european" response.

And Ginalee - i can understand you closing my other thread and i apologise if i broke any board rules, but i believe i reserve the right to be mad at apple. If they want to release the mini in april here in europe then thats fine by me. But restricting ANY europeans from buying it at all is just pure discrimination. You try buying something you really want but being told you can't cuz you live where-ever. Let me tell you - its not cool. So much for international trade. So now i either wait to be ripped off in april (i trust you've seen the astronomical price hike we have to endure) or buy a different player. Suddenly the MUVO2 looks very inviting. Sorry apple, i tried...

Mitch, I don't see why you think Apple is singling out Europeans. Noone else in the world can get ipod minis, not just Europeans. This is not something that only Apple does, same thing for cell phones, which are also sold regionally and not always internationally (see example Nokia)
I also got my ipods from the US via Ebay.

Me too I got today my iPOD mini from the US! Its a gold one and I love it! Its soooooo cool!!! and Mitch I am aulso from Europe!

Yeah, okay I know apple aren't singling out europeans. But there is a large gap between the US price and the Euro price. I also hate the way apple jumped on anyone selling it abroad. I mean come on, thats not the type of thing the ruins companies like apple.
I'm just very disappointed that i either wait for the daylight robbery to commence, or buy a MUVO2. Its my first time purchasing an Mp3 player, and i wanted to do it right. So far, choosing apple has brough nothing but hassle.
Surely you see where i'm coming from...

Hello? Can`t you read?! I just posted that I am also from Europe and got today an iPOD mini! Where is the Problem? I think you are just making problems! I ordered on Friday and got the iPODmini today! Ok I couldn`t wait and payed for large shipping charges but if u can wait longer that 3 days its chaeper!!;-) So I don`t know why u r making such a big thing about getting the iPODmini to Europe!!

Alright then Flixi - maybe in your infinite knowledge you could let me in on the name of the site you bought from. I hope to god you don't say macconnection or CDW cuz they don't ship to europe anymore...

Flixi, I live outside the states too and consider to buy an ipod mini. can u please tell how much did you pay for it, and who did you buy from?

Maybe in your infinite wisdom, you can actually read the replies on this thread that you started and you'll see where he got his iPod mini.
