and whats the breakin period for the EX71's?

do these sound a WHOLE lot better than the regular apple ones? if so i will order a pair, if its only a marginal difference, then i'll just stick with the apple ones. Can anyone tell me some of the major differences between the two?

To my non-audiophile ears they sounds about the same. Maybe a bit more bass on the Sony's. I only got them because I don't see how its earthly possible to fit something comfortably and securely into your earlobe if its as bid as an Apple earbud.Tirinal at 2007-11-15 14:45:23 >

Do some reading and searches over on the iPod >> Gear >> Ear/Headphones forum and you'll find lots of information on those Sony's.
