my green mini (photos, etc)
i got mine on thursday the 19th, from what ive heard thats the earliest anyone's recieved theirs. being the first person in my elite ny private high school to have one was pretty exciting (though id hate to admit it...).
i made her a livejournal:
little miss ipod (http://www.livejournal.com/~littlemissipod)
i also took loads of photos!
some of them are quite flattering i think:

i love my mini!!!!

ps: i had to make the decision between ordering a mini or a regular sized one, since this is my first ipod. and although i was seriously hesitant because the mini fits only 2/3 of my songs, i am so pleased with it! i can hardly tell some of my songs are missing. :)

Not a poem I wrote but it's deserving of you and your new green companion.

Green As It Gets
Green is the rough paper that hides in my wallet,
Green is the sneaky leprechaun who gives pots of gold.
Green is the strong pine tree that sit in my living room on Christmas Day,
Green is the color that fills your mind with envy.
Green is the gross moldy cheese that sits in my refrigerator,
Green is the color of the bright leaves of a palm tree.
Green is the delicious mint ice cream that I get from Brusters,
Green is the grass that sparkles like emeralds.
Green is the color of the ripe pear I slice,
Green is the slimy frog that hops from lily pad to lily pad.
Green gardens grow during the growing season,
Green apples shine in the sunny orchards.
Green is the color of the big alligators that live in the cloudy swamps,
Green is the Grinch that stole the holiday Christmas.
Green is the ivy that wraps around my house,
Green is the cricket that sings outside my window.
Green is the feeling of a cool summer breeze,
Green is the juicy cucumber I pick from my garden.
Green is the moss that lies beneath the log,
Green is the healthy rain forest that grows under the sun.
Green are the olives tossed in my salad,
Green is the color of my grass-stained jeans.
Green is the shade of Mrs. Cloherty's thick sweater,
Green are the pickles that crunch in my mouth.
Green is the bean stock that Jack climbed,
Green is the color of the berry bush that grows in my backyard.
Green are the beautiful things you see everyday,
Green are the things we pray will never go away.
