First hearing about the mini made me laugh. I mean, I thought to myself WHAT WAS APPLE THINKING?! Now seeing pics and features and size... I must say that I am very impressed. Some others already have this view now, but I'm gonna also join the bandwagon and say I'm extremely close to getting one... I think that I'm gonna wait a little while though and see what Apple does... maybe a price reduction? ;)

The thing I love most about the mini is the aluminum case. When I got my iPod a month ago, I adored it, but thought it smudged and scratched WAY too easily... I mean I barely put my finger on my pod and you could see ALL of the oil... not good... cases solve the smudge problem, but it still scratches like a thin piece of glass grating against concrete...

I LOVE the new click wheel, too. I loved the iPod's buttons and wheel, but this new idea seems initiative and simple enough to really hit it off with the masses. The new feature that I just learned about that adds to iTunes when the mini senses it can't store all of the music in the library is EXCELLENT. This was one of the only things I was worried about with the mini. How would it download all of my 4.4 gigs of music? I would have to delete music... and that would NOT be good. The "playlist" idea is ingenious.

The new size is nice... I have never had a problem size-wise with my iPod, but maybe that's just because of my big pockets... still... if you can make the size smaller, why not?

Now to just find the cash for it...
