I got my mini on Thursday (2/19/04), and took some pics of the unwrapping, as well as for size comparison (next to a business card, and a Sanyo 5300). Sorry if some of the size pics are blurry...kinda took those in a hurry. So far...I love the mini...the size, the style, the control...Apple got it right, and it was definately worth all $250!

Yup...you can look at measurements all day long, but until you actually see one in person, and hold it for yourself...you really won't appreciate just how small it really is.Minty Fresh at 2007-11-15 14:46:28 >

Ditto. It really is considerably tinier. I know it is like 35% the weight and 40% less volume, but in real life it feels like it is about half to 60% "smaller" than the 3rd gen ipod. I tell you no lies.
