The dock connector on the mini is centered in all directions. If you look at the regular iPod the connector is not centered from front to back. Because of this off center condition the mini's case catches on the dock when you insert it. It kinda fits but not very well. I tried to insert my mini onto a regular iPod dock and it didn't fit.duffy at 2007-11-15 14:51:33 >

'cause the base of the mini wouldn't fit in the slot of the iPod dock.
