iPod mini - Better sound quality than iPod?
Has anyone else noticed this?
I experimented with my girlfriend's iPod vs. my new mini on the same music.
I must say that the mini sounds better. It sounds more full, and a little bit crisper on my stereo system. Less "flat" as well.
I wonder if anyone has taken it apart yet, to see if there is an upgraded sound processor in it.
This can only be good news for those waiting for the 4G.

Apparently not, the same sound with its big brother. It still lacks bass, welll thats according to one thread I read on Apple iPod mini discussion board.

That is has a different sound processor, that it sounds the same to you, or what?
I dont have mine yet but it probably runs different software if I had to guess.
So something is probably different. I will see later tonight

I agree, it does seems to sound better.
