mini and the UK

Hi, dont know if anyone can help but here goes:

I am *hopefully* getting a mini in about 2 weeks time (from the US) and have a few questions (i'm in the UK):

1. Since its a US one (with US connections) can i just chage it over firewire and forget about power converters?
2. If anything goes wrong do you think apple UK would do anything about it (i.e. warranty)?
3. I have iTunes already on my PC with about 400 songs, when i get the iPod is it as simple as plugging it in or am I going to have to install software/reinstall iTunes etc (and will re-installing iTunes delete my music collection?)

Thanks

you can charge it via the firewire cable, the USB2.0 cable and the AC charger (all you need is a simple two-to-three prong adapter).

the warrenty is worldwide. once the ipod mini is released here in the UK register your serial number with apple UK.

I also don`t think that we in europe need a converter! Cause I think the iPOD has 100-240V do u think i am right? I mean if its till 220V then we don`t have to convert or do we?

You can just pull off the american 2 prong connector and use a standard "figure 8" connector.
