Using IPOD in a car questions
Hi i have a question about using my 40g in my truck i have a pioneer cd/mp3 player and i just recieved the Pioneer CD-RB10 IP-Bus to RCA Adapter CDRB10 that will allow me to connect my ipod to my cd player via rca cables. i was reading about this adapter when i bought and it siad the following.....
When connected to the IP-Bus connection of a Pioneer head unit, the device connected to the RCA ins must have an output voltage of 1 volt or less, or it must have a volume control so its output can be lowered. If the signal voltage is higher than 1 volt, the unit will distort and/or be damaged.
Ok i guess what i need to know is will i damage anything with my ipod? because if i turn the volume down on my ipod will i be ok. if so what volume setting on the ipod?
thanks

from what i understand just keep the ipod at a low volume and then use the head unit to control the volume...i got my cable today too, now i just have to wait for my head unit to come back.
