Line out to mini-plug cable?

Does anyone know if a cable exists that takes the audio from the line out 30-pin connector at the bottom of the iPod and connect to an aux input with a mini-plug connector?

I have a nice setup in my car where my iPod plugs directly into the faceplate of my head unit, but I really hate missing out on the full dynamic range I know I would have with a line-out output instead of the headphone output.

Is there anything on the market right now or perhaps in development?

Thanks!

the only ones that exist are the ones that also connect to the cigarette lighter for power.
The line out is usually a regular headphone jack on the power portion of the adapter, so you can just use the cord you are using now and connect it from the line out to the faceplate.
i think belkin and sik make one. check the gear guide on the lounge.

Thanks Andrew!

I was just reading up on this Monster iCharger and it sounds like perhaps this is the solution.

Does the dock connector on the iCharger have a mini-plug receptacle? If so, problem solved...

Nope. No audio output from the iCharger in any description I've been able to find.

Best bet for now is either Belkin's auto charger or the Sik product.

I use the Belkin through a PIE adapter into the CD changer input of my stock head unit, and the setup works great.

***EDIT***

Just now found the thread discussing the iCharger's line output. Guess I stand corrected!

SiK sells the imp which has this, i use it and it is very good for my home setup (lineout and a firewire socket) so i can sync and play off my home stereo without having to take my iskin off. they also sell the din which is just the firewire section and lineout (no ciggarette lighter segment) http://www.sik.com/products.php has the two products and photos
