1999 Mercury Sable with 6 disc CD changer

I have a 1999 Mercury Sable wagon with a 6 disc CD changer in the back that is controlled through my in dash contoller that is factory.

I've seen a few posts on how to hard wire the ipod and they all mention hooking it up through either 1) the antenna or 2) the CD input for the changer. Does this mean you loose the antenna or the CD changer? I want to keep everything I currently have in the car but also add the ipod somehow other than the FM transmitter or the tape adapter (which seems to really suck in my car).

I would love tips from anyone who has successfully installed their ipod in thier post 96 sable or taurus. The more info the better.

Also, I know this forum has a bunch of do-it-yourselfers, but are there any good car audio places doing ipod installs for people who are not great at ripping their dash apart?

Thanks.

the easiest way i've found to find good places for audio work on your car is to go to one of those big electronic stores that does installation work.
go into the service bay or go to one of the younger looking sales guys in car audio, and ask them where they would go for good audio work.

this has worked for me every single time. if you want to go the extra mile, do this at a few places and see what names get repeated.
