Nice install! It is good to see an install that doesn't have all those ugly wires and PDA cholderslps cluttering up the car. People get way to excited for some very basic installs. Good job.

That would be my "dream" installation... I wish I had a compartment in my car to do a similar install.

Beautiful setup.

I've got a couple of questions.

(1) Is that the standard Apple dock?

(2) If so, any tips on duplicating that paint job?

(3) How did you cut the dash piece behind it (since I assume the dock sticks through)?

lonnie_20, I notice you have the icelink and a cable going to the dock port on the ipod. Do you know if it's possible to get a line out from the dock port with the ice link plugged in?

its acutally a firewire cable that is directly connected to the icelink..it is only used for charging...i do think that icelink is coming out with a "docking" type of product instead of having to plug into the headphone jack
