Issue in the Gear section of iPod mini forums
I've noticed that when I go to the mini 'Gear' forum that the people are asking questions about earphones and such. Obviously they don't visit the iPod forum's gear section because most of them are new here and think that our gear has nothing to do with theirs.
I suggest that within the iPod mini 'Gear' forum you create a link to 'Earphones/Headphones' since that subject is common for both of us.
This will save alot of mini users time since alot of their questions will be answered by people that have been around for alot longer.

We tend to agree with you, and have begun to religiously move posts about earphones from Mini-->Gear to iPod-->Gear-->Headphones.
If it gets much worse than the occasional post that we have now, you have my word that I'll put a sticky in there redirecting earphone questions to the appropriate forum.

that works but a much simpler thing would be to put a link IN the mini gear forum to 'Earphones/Headphones'. this wouldnt be to difficult and that way mini users would look at those forums too. because not everyone is asking questions, sometimes people are just looking around and if they saw a link to the earphones section they might visit and LEARN.

"Headphone posts - NOT IN HERE" (http://ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22175) is a sticky in the iPod mini Gear forum requesting members to do just this - post any ear/headphone topics in the main Gear forum.
And as Jerrod states any stray posts will be rounded up and moved, leaving a redirect in place.

OK OK I'm just saying that 1 link would be easier than having to systematically round up all the misplaced posts. 'Stickies' are not as obvious as you think, actually I miss them all the time.
