Anyone had problems with Shure E2s ?
I have had my shure e2's since before christmas all was going well untill this morning, whenever I move the cable theres hiss crackle and the sound goes from two channels to one. If I can position the cable just right the sound is fine i have contacted pjbox.co.uk where I bought them to see what can be done about this. I'm totally gutted back to using my Sharp mini-disk ones for now :(
Anyone have problems of this type with these headphones?
Also am I entitled to a replacement or to have them fixed for free, as Im not quite "shure" pardon the pun where I stand

Yes--the earlier versions of the E2's have a known deficiency in the jack, which causes them to short out. Shure replaced mine.
The E2's have a two year warranty--you need to send them in with a copy of your receipt (if you registered them with Shure, all you need to do is send them in), and they'll replace them with a new "improved" version. If you lost your reciept, like I did, ask the vendor you purchased them from for one (I bought mine online from DJMart; they had the invoice still on file and sent me a copy).

Thanks.
I am getting a replacement from pjbox.co.uk but as they are just a importer and reseller of this product it makes me wonder wether I will recieve the improved E2's or the same ole same ole, as it were. Do you know if shure has a base in the UK so I could register and contact them directly if I had the same problem again.
Cheers.

I don't know off hand if Shure has a base in the UK--you can email them at their website; they're very good about promptly responding.
