Guys,

I am pretty new to MP3s and my week old iPod 3G.

I have two questions.

1) I have some MP3s recorded from CD/MD of my girlfriends radio show, can I/she listen to these on my ipod....my concern is that they are purely files i.e. I don't suppose they have these 'tags' that the ipod database requires to show the file....can I create tags?

2) I have a number of songs that have massive gaps before launching into hidden songs, on my MD player I used to either create a new track or delete the blank section, saving disc space etc, is there a way to do this with MP3s retaining tag data etc
