Something that you do to/with your ipod that gives it a little uniqueness. Mine would be i leave on the clicking noise(i love the sound) and I mainly use it to listen to Pimsleur language tracks. People always saying "where the hell is the music?"

Well mine's not the only one of its kind in the world, but mine is unique because- it is always in its Belkin Leather Flip case, unless docked/parked in my InMotion on my bedtable
- it is almost always coupled with my white Sony MDR-EX71s
I was in Buffalo Wild Wings last night waiting for somebody to come and this girl walks past my table, and gave my iPod a long, lingering LOOK. LOL .. I love it when that happens.

What makes my iPod unique? Well, the fact that it's got Spice Girls on it, I'd say, makes it pretty unique. It's OK. I probably will never do it since I don't plan to tinker with 500 dollar equipment 'just to make it look nicer' if the relative big risk is to screw up the cool silver back forever. I'm lazy and I can get really goofy if I'm distracted, which happens a lot as well.

I called up Apple's techies and they guided me through it. Reset the ipod and away it went. She told me that I should think of my ipod as a computer and that computers sometimes lock up. I will tell you what makes my ipod unique- the various locations of the scratches it has encumbered since its removal from its packaging. No other ipod has the exact same scratch marks in these different locations. Oh yeah one more thing, I think these scratch removers and polishes are all a fasade, you never will truly have the original condition your ipod was in when you first took it out of its box. Well allthough I never gave it a try, I always had the choice of putting my ipod in my old minidisc case. The purchase of my ipod actually came after the death of my minidisc player. I spent a little upwards of 400 on the Sony MZN1 back then. It lasted me two years and then mysteriously refused to play any discs. Sony said it would cost 200 dollars to repair. The homemade case! The bottom of the thing is made of of some Model Magic clay sandwiched between two layers of cardboard as a drop protection measure, to which the upper portion of a sock is stapled. The piece of the sock gives the Pod a nice snug fit, and it allows it to breath fairly easily too, seeing as socks are fairly porus!!!!!:p :D :cool: :cool:

Mine is unique because it's almost full :( And I'm not going to list bands to show you how "varied" my interests are, but you can check my sig out for that.
Something I've noticed is that very very few people who have iPods keep death/black metal or grindcore on them. The stereotypical iPod snob has world, dance, techno, Radiohead, jazz, etc... so I guess that makes mine unique.
As does the fact that I have a 3rd gen. After christmas 2004 I suddenly started seeing white earbuds everywhere, but they're only 4th gens. and I personally prefer having touch-sensitive buttons at the top to having to click the wheel and center buttons.

AFAIK 1st one with a Half-Life 2 logo brushed on the back (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v52/djlucite/ipod/brushedipod-hl2.jpg) (Think you guys saw it before) ^_^...but I lost it 3 weeks after I brushed that logo. Dammit.My 1st gen...it's a 1st gen. Everyone else is buying 4th gens and I'm chillin with my 1st gen. Can't let go of that 24 hour NT battery I put in, lol.

My iPod uses different battery pictures, so its easy to see the battery percentage remaining. I've changed the battery image to battery pictures I've edited in Photoshop... I'd say the only ipod of my collection that is unique is my U2, it has ONLY U2 songs all at lossless, every song and collaboration they've ever been a part of (even from when they were called Feedback and The Hype)... yes, I do love my U2 (I've already been to the Vertigo tour 3 times and will be going again).I guess owning 8 between my wife and I is a bit unique. I also never use the buds, only high-end cans for me, so most people never even suspect that I'm using an iPod.
I'm a Professional Artist and Photographer, one of my 60GB iPod Photos is dedicated to images (and it's full), a sort of portable digital portfolio with images ranging from 1MB to 2GB, most are compressed down to around 3MB.

Oh my god! I thought I was the only one with the Whiffenpoofs on my Ipod! That's just crazy!!!
As for why mine is unique..well there are scratches on the back of it..that kinda resemble the Star Trek isignia. Funny thing is..I have a skin on it and the scratch still appeared underneath the skin. Kinda freaky..but cool to talk about.
