iPods obselete People
iPods freakin rule. Theyre the best things ever made in the universe, ever, period. Screw henry ford, screw the wright brothers, screw davinci. The sole purpose of all evolution up until this point was the creation of the ipod.
I was so happy when I got mine. I was like, yay this obseletes my old crappy mp3 CD player (rio), in fact it obseletes CDs completely. It obseletes crappy winamp (which I now only use to cosntruct playlists for my iPod).
But then I began to realize, it obseletes people. My friends invited me over to play poker, and I sat and listened to my iPod while I took all their money. I watched a Lakers game with my brother, but I just listened to my iPod the whole time, because NinjaTunes are better than Stu Lance. I went to a movie, and it was boring so I put on my iPod. People call me, and I dont answer because I don't wanna take my headphones out and expose myself to dangerous reality.
I seriously beginning to think that this is a problem. I have an antisocial tendency to begin with. But.. i like music more than I like people, and having an iPod is the closest thing yet available to having a stereo impanted directly into your brain (which I will be first in line for when that comes out.)

I share in your addiction to the pod, but I seriously think that you might need to tone it down a little bit... One day your pod'll die and you'll be inescapably catapulted into the horrible reality of life... iPod's a great thing, but too much of a great thing is a bad thing...that is, except for pizza. Pizza is the one exception.

umm, people are better than music (see chart below)
God -> All things -> People -> Make lots of things -> Music -> Toys -> Wasted Time -> Goats
As you can see, music came before toys, ipod = toy
people make toys and music, so play with people becuase they make your toys and music :/
if all else fails, just eat some meat. youll feel better

No way dude, God made people so they would make iPods so he didnt have to listen to stupid angels singing anymore because, even though they have beautiful voices, they get boring after a few millenia.
God, lacking technical and engineering prowess, but being extraordinarily good at genetic science, created a slave race of people with some technical skill (and other people who had burger-flipping skill so that the people with technical skill wouldnt get hungry) and voila, the iPod was created. Having no further use for us, we will be destroyed shortly.

The original point of the post was simply to point out how cool I think my ipod is, using the literary tool of hyperbole (mild exaggeration).
I love my iPod. But I haven't -really- lost any friends over it. Yet.
