my laptop died last week (dropped, smashed etc...:( ) so i bought a pc.

when i first plugged my ipod in, it said that to sync i would need to erase all my songs but i didnt want to do that til i copied all my songs to my new computer so i clicked cancel & ticked the box so the msg doesnt show again. i finally got my music transfered last night & downloaded some new tracks aswell but now when i try to transfer the songs from itunes to my ipod, i can't!! :confused:

on my ipod i still have the original songs & can't erase them off it & can't transfer anymore onto it. i tried to restore & update the latest software but it gets about halfway throgh downloading the software then stops, saying im not connected to the net or its timedout! :mad:

can someone please help?
