Ipod doesnt read music anymore! Help!

Heyy everyone, I have a 60g Ipod Video. Today I was charging it up in the computer, and when I turned off the computer, I realized the Ipod didnt have any songs, or videos...Just as new, xcept for the photos. When I clicked about the storage used is still the same as before, and Itunes doesnt read it...and says somethinb about reset everything...and Winamp does read it. Is there any way to fix this without reseting everything?!

Sounds like your iPod's hard drive may have gotten corrupted. I really doubt there's any way to fix it without erasing the music you currently have on it. What you'll have to do is restore your iPod to factory default in iTunes (this will erase anything you have put on your iPod!). Then you can just re-sync all the music you have in iTunes back onto your iPod.

Have you tried doing a soft reset of your iPod that doesn't cause any music loss. Just hold
Menu + Select it should reset your iPod and you should see the apple logo and hopefully all of your songs will be back.

I've got a question. Did you switch off your computer when your iPod was still connected to it, without ejecting it properly?
