Mac AirPort is a load of crap!
My XP runs through my LinkSys router without a problem. But when I'm trying to connect with my MacBook, the router doesn't even show up as a name! I used to be able to connect with my neighboors internet and I can still connect for like 10 minutes and then it disconnects. When I try again, I get error messages.
Apple does a poor job with the support section on this. Could someone help me? It's been five days!

Hahaha sorry everyone. As you can see I get very angry if things don't workout right. It's kinda a problem. Excuse me for the thread title. It did take me five days because I thought reseting the router meant replugging the cords etc. The actual way to reset the router was to press a very tiny button on the bottom.
Meh, it all worked out and I apologize for all the crap I posted.

I gotta ask u folks... why do u spend $100++ for an Airport when a plain vanilla, good enuff PC Wifi router can be had well under $50? One configured, mostly once-off, ez of use doesn't really matter right?

Nader172 said he's using a LinkSys router, Apple also calls the wifi card in their computers Airport.

oh... then much ado 'bout nuthing... gotta expect some bumps when interoperating between Apple-PC. Apple WANTS YOU to use an Airport basestation, so if u have a little prob w a linksys... hey they not gonna spend a whole lota time with ya.
