Play sound from one computer through another?
Is it possible to set up a PC so that when I play sound from my mac, it'll play through the PC speakers, as if the pc were acting as an airport express? I want to be able to play sound through my media computer without having to put all my music on there.

Do you mean internal speakers? If you do, just run a minijack cable from the Mac's 'out' to the PC's 'in' and open Sound Recorder. (If I remember correctly)

Sorry, I should have clarified what I meant. What I mean is that I'm wondering if there is some sort of program out there that will allow me to forward sound from my mac over the network through my PC speakers, so the PC would basically be acting like the audio forwarding feature of the airport express stations you can buy from apple.

Probly not exactly what yer looking but u can use VNC (freeware remote desktop) and gain control of the PC from the MAC, and once yer there, u can play anything from a networked drive....

Or you could share your music library in iTunes on your Mac, and your PC should see it in iTunes and be able to play all of the music on the Mac through the PC.
Here's a guide to share your music through iTunes:
