LMAO. It runs Windows (or a cheap knock-off of it).

All of these Asian electronics knock-offs are getting ridiculous.

But do they provide cutting-edge technology for a cheaper price? Beneficial?

Yeah, but there's no innovation on their side. Apple needs to make up for Research and Development expenses. Those companies are leeches.

You are right of course.

I am just wondering whether this product is simply a marketing tool. I must admit that I have never seen one of these Apple clones in the flesh, be they iPods or iPhones.

I would not get to distressed about Apple's plight, or too vindictive towards Meizu.

This is all an evolution of the PalmPilot & Windows CE handhelds. I can't imagine anyone sucessfully suing over design.

Psh. Why don't they use their brains to create another product?

There's not that much in the way of innovation about the iPhone - the only thing Apple will do any better than anyone else is liable to be the UI and I doubt very much Meizu will be able to get away with copying that.

Psh. Why don't they use their brains to create another product? And the same could be said of Apple, given that the iPhone appears to be a knock-off of an older LG design and is really just a pretty-looking PDA.

This thread is almost as bad as the Vista one: all the Apple 'supporters' have a go at some other company for doing what everyone (Apple included) do - copy each other.

It's rare to find a truly innovative product design these days. You never know who's ripping off who. For all we know, maybe Apple ripped off of this product.
