How do you text message?

u first compose a msg on yr tinny keypad, one letter at a time, then hit the SEND button, phone then will ask u who u wanna to send it to, either a new phone# or an existing address book entry. Most phones will also allow u to compose standard msgs that u can save and re-use.

you can also people cell online...like from www.rogers.ca(send a text message)
or telus and bell have them too...but it only works with that servie..so the rogers site only goes to rogeres phones!

I text message all the time. My plan has unlimited texting so I might as well put it to use. ;)

You can use Teleflip from your computer, it doesn't matter what provider they have.

You simply use their ten-digit phone number, and add "@teleflip.com" to the end like an e-mail.

I hate it... unfortunately, I was part of the pager era and I hated that as well. All my friends love it and doesn't make much sense when I can make a call in less time it takes to send a damn message. It won't cost me anything to make a phone call either.
