My screen on my 5G Video has the dreaded 'ink blob' look and I was looking to replace the screen. I was wondering if I could replace it with the brighter 5.5G's screen and simply upgrade the firmware on my ipod to have it work. Has anyone had any success? If not, I'll just swap it out with the older version. I just figured as long I was replacing it, I might as well 'upgrade' the screen, right?
