**please Help**
Now I know that there is always the option of restoring my iPod to its original settings. However I was hoping that I wouldn't have to resort to that. So any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a 30 GB iPod with video. Lately, whenever I try to upload anything, I get a message that says..."Phil's iPod cannot be updated either the file or directory is corrupted." Does anyone know of any solutions to this without restoring the iPod and losing all of my information? I'm sorry if this is a silly question but I'm not very sure of how to deal with iPod troubles. Thank You in advance.

This usually happens when an iTunes file is corrupt. If your ipod is playing, and all of its functions are working properly, reinstall iTunes on your computer. This usually does the trick.
