Saving/burning music question

I am about to visit a friend for a weekend and want to burn a bunch of his CDs to my iTunes. I have already registered three computers and dont want to register a fourth as this is getting to close to the five computer limit. Two home computers (old one then the replacement) and my laptop. Are there any options to burning the CDs to my laptop then transferring them to my iTunes library?

CDs don't have DRM so you don't have anything to worry about.

Yeah, just plug the CDs into the laptop. If you're connected to the internet, iTunes will look up the track names. Make sure your settings are how you want them in Preferences > Advanced > Importing. Click the Import CD button. You're all set.

This is where a lot of my music collection came from.

Don't forget that "borrowing" CDs isn't exactly legal.

I continue to believe that this falls under "fair use." Anyway, many of us have been doing it, in effect, since the era of LPs and cassette tapes. And all the while, we've been spending tons of money on music, because we love it, which is why we share it in the first place. I sincerely believe this is the way the music world is supposed to work.

I'll admit it; a few years ago I borrowed several dozen CDs from a friend. I have since then purchased every single one of them on CD. I'm 100% legit now. :)
