Album Art Programs: Any that work for the "device" library, not "iTunes" library

I've read about this before posting, so hear me out, please.

I tried TuneSleeve -- it looks awesome, but unfortunately, it only works on music in your iTunes, not on your device. I don't manage my music through iTunes, I just use iTunes to import my music. [It's not practical for me to do it any other way, so please don't say "just use iTunes and sync"]

Is there anything like TuneSleeve that works on your device library? I'm using "iTunes Art Importer" now, but TuneSleeve is much better, is there anything like that for your device music?

(Also, is there a good tag editing program (CDDB lookup, "fIx sONg caPItalizaTION", etc) that interfaces with iTunes device library, or is there something else you'd recommend?)

Thanks, I'm a new iPod user (converted to 80GB iPod from 60GB Creative), so I'm trying to get all acquainted.

What exactly is the "device library"?

Album art must be managed in iTunes. There is no way to do it through the iPod and there is no reason to do it through the iPod.
