help...i restore and dont have adapter

am new at ipod.my brother gave me his and it was windows format with crappy songs...i connect it to my mac and i pressed restore.now i have to find adapter to continue which i dont have...help

Yes, I have this same problem.

I tried to restore, and it erased everything, and is now asking for the electric outlet adapter, which I don't have.

iPod will no longer mount, and I can't access ipod via the computer by any method, nor get the ipod to do anything other than show me the electric outlet icon.

In just the very beginning of my research, you're the third person I've met whose got this problem. Another user with this problem did have the outlet adapter, and he said it accomplished nothing.

I think I have iPod with Clickwheel, but it's kinda hard to tell cause there is no model name on ipod or in manual.

Well, at least we're not alone, so maybe there's hope.
