How do you create IPOD song list?
Hi,
I want to create a list of all my songs currently on my IPOD, I know there is the "Export" option for your library, but as soon as I select my IPOD device( my library and my IPOD are not synchronized ) the "Export" option is grayed out.
Can you tell me how can I create this list?

I'm not sure this is the simplest way, but what I would do is:
1. Create a new playlist called something like "iPod 1 March 2007"
2. Click on the iPod in the source list to show all the tracks currently on there.
3. File > Select All.
4. Drag all these tracks into the new playlist.
5. Export "iPod 1 March 2007"

Thanks for your reply, I tried your steps but got only till step 4. I can only drag items on my ipod to an Ipod's playlist, and these for some bizarre reason do not support the "Export" option

With iTunes, you can copy and paste what you see directly into a spreadsheet like Excel. You can do this with a single playlist, your iPod's contents, or your entire library. If you don't have Excel, check out "Google Docs and Spreadsheets", a free online word processor and spreadsheet resource (http://docs.google.com/)
