Shuffle Setting in itunes & ipod
FYI...I have a 5g 30gb, not a shuffle
I have the shuffle setting set to on for things like playlists while I'm listening to my ipod at work through itunes. When I leave work and click on something to listen to other than the playlist (i.e., live concert album that i had uploaded to itunes), why is the shuffle setting still on? In the live album scenario, I do not want these songs to shuffle since the songs litterally blend into each other (no gap like on a studio album) and I prefer listening to the live album without the songs shuffling?
How do I change the shuffle setting on the ipod once I leave work since I had already set it that way on the ipod through itunes?
Please help!

Playlists on the iPod will be copied in the order in which they were currently displayed when you synced your iPod. That means if the list is shuffled when you sync, it will be shuffled (in that specific order, though) on your iPod. If it was sorted alphabetically when you sync, it will be alphabetical on your iPod, and if it was sorted by "date added" it will be sorted by "date added" on the iPod.. Just make sure you de-shuffle the playlist before you sync. If you're away from the computer and can't change this back, you should still be able to play the albums in track-number order by playing them from the "Artist" or "Albums" menu rather than "Playlists". Playlists will play in whatever order they were displayed at sync time, but albums should still play in track-number order (unless you also have shuffle turned on on the iPod, which is found under Settings > Shuffle -- this can be set to "Songs" [shuffles all songs in the currently selected album/playlist], "Albums" [plays one album straight through, and then selects another album at random], or "Off" ... I don't think you need an explanation of the "off" setting ;)).
