Playlists & Purchased Playlists gone with Vista

I've search and have not found this problem. Had XP and my music folder was on a 2nd internal hard drive. Did a clean install of Vista Ultimate and installed iTunes 7.02. It found my music folder no problem and of course imported everything fine including purchased music and videos.

The problem I'm having is that all of the Playlists were gone and the "Purchased" playlist was one of them. Again my purchases are there but if I try to make a playlist of purchased songs the "Purchased" choice isn't there in any of the drop downs.

I did figure out I could create a smart playlist by choosing "Kind" and typing in "Protected" but before on clean installed of XP all playlists etc were there automatically once I re-installed iTunes.

Also now my videos don't have sound.

Any ideas or am I going to have to create all my playlists again?

Lastly I have not plugged my iPod into this computer yet for fear of loosing the playlists I do have. Took me a long time to put my running mix together and there are over 500 songs in it.

Thanks

Anyone have an idea? I did a complete uninstall like apple suggests and as soon as I re-installed it did the same thing again.
