What would be the ideal storage for the Nano?
I was rereading an old thread about the Nano vs. Video ipod. Some said 10 GB would be great. I agree too. Considering you listen to music and store some photos, what size would you be comfortable with?

I have a 4GB nano. Utilizing smart playlists, all 8GB+ of my music collection gets automatically rotated on and off the iPod with minimal effort on my part, so I never really find myself wanting in the capacity department. I can't carry around every song in my collection, but I couldn't listen to them all on a single charge anyway. When I plug in to the computer to recharge my iPod, the songs I've just heard get kicked off and something new takes their place. You'd never even know that I don't have all my songs, because they will all get played sooner or later.

1 petabyte ought to cover it.
In all seriousness, as much as I can get. It's easy to live with my 8GB using smart playlists but I'd love for there to be as much as possible without changing the physical size/shape of the Nano.

16gb would be great, but I could do with 12gb.

I was one of the people who said 10gb would be good. Having got an 8gb, I am fairly happy with it. I've got most of my collection on there, but a couple of extra gigs would allow me more space for voice recordings and extra podcastles. The smart playlists do help.
