If your using the new Tunetalk stereo attatched to your iPod you'll need to take it off and charge with the regular dock connector cable. I believe that the Tunetalk always makes the ipod boot and enter the recording screen. If it's connected to an iPod with very low battery it'll just boot and shut down endlessly and never charge. Or charge very slow. I took mine off and plugged it into my wall charger with the standard cable and it fixed it.
